How do I become a member?
To become a member you need to be a current or incoming student at UCF and you need to fill out a Membership Form.

How much are dues?
Dues are currently $25 for a year, or $15 for just one semester.

When and where do the Outlanders meet?
The UCF Outlanders meet the first Tuesday of every month in the Biology building room 415 at 9:00 PM.

What kind of stuff do I need to have to go on a trip?
The stuff you need depends on the type of trip and should be listed in the trip's topic.
We also like having anyone who goes on a trip to fill out a Release Form, it protects you and us.

I'm not a student at UCF, can I join the Outlanders?
No, you cannot officially join the UCF Outlanders, however, anyone can go on an Outlanders trip.

How much does it cost to go on a trip with the Outlanders?
The cost varies based on where/what we are doing but for most trips it is between $5 - $10. Due paying members will usually get a discounted price.

Is there any way to get out of paying the dues?
YES, go on our fundraiser aka The Dog Trials.

What are the dog trials?
The Dog Trials are the Outlander's way of making money to keep the club up and running. For the Dog trials we help the Jacksonville Retrievers Club (JRC).


What kind of trips do you go on?
The Outlanders go a a variety of trips ranging from a day trip canoeing or Geocaching to week long trips to places like the Appalachian Trail. We will Hike, Canoe, Bike, Fish, Camp, Party, Swim, Surf or whatever else sounds fun.

How can I be more involved in the Outlanders?
You can:
Go on more trips
Bring friends and assorted random people to club meetings and on club trips
Pay your DUES
Suggest trips on the forum
Go to the Dog Trial (aka Club Fund Raiser)
Tell everyone in all of your classes how awesome the UCF Outlanders are

How often do you go on trips?
The Outlanders have some sort of trip almost every week.

Where do you get trip ideas from?
All of our trips start out as someone wanting to do something and posting that on the forum (http://outlanders.1.forumer.com/)
