Nothin' Better to Do ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Group: SuperModerator Posts: 122 Member No.: 88 Joined: November 07, 2007 |
This is going to be the first overnight trip of the year.
We will be doing the traditional Outlander Econ River Canoe and Camping Trip. For those of you who aren't familar with the trip, the Econ River is located just north of UCF in Geneva (10-15 drive). The Plan: We will put in saturday morning off of 419 and the paddle to the campsite is approx. 3 hours downstream. We ask that everyone brings their own lunch for saturday because we will be stopping half way or so to eat and then continue paddling to the campsite. We will set up camp and play in the afternoon and evening, dinner will be provided. Sunday morning we will eat breakfast and play a little and then continue downstream for about an hour to the pick up point. Time: We will be meeting up at UCF at 9am on saturday and expect to be back to UCF by 3 or 4pm at the latest on sunday. Food: Dinner and breakfast will be provided. Lunch on saturday is your own responsibility, there will be a cooler to put your lunch in. **Please post any food allergies on the forum. Necessary Items to Bring: -Sleeping Bag. -Clothes. -Camp Chair (can be purchased anywhere, Walmart is usually $10). -Water/Drink Bottle or container. -Tent (add to your post if you have one or if you will need one). -Anything else for canoeing, camping or swimming. Space is limited to 14 people or so, beacause of the number of canoes. Please RSVP on the forum, include a phone number, food allergies, and if you have a tent or not. -------------------- Steven Veil

Hey I used to be part of the Outlanders before I graduated back in 2007. I would love to come along on this trip. I would plan on bringing my kayak, and if needed I have a spare canoe that the club could use. I also have a ton of extra gear if anyone needs to borrow anything. Please keep me posted about this trip. My email is rgessman@gmail.com or I can be reached at 8135987155.

I'd like to come but I'm a bit undergeared at the moment so my showing up is tentative.
I've no allergies. |
